I use to be 9.8 before I got married now more like a 15. But I back trying to get my index down. Sure I would like to play what days do use usually play. I love playing on the East Coast this time of year. It seems that soon at the temp hit in the 50s everyone stops playing I usually try to play thru the winter if there is no snow on the ground (irons only). Let me know...

My index is a 8.2 right now. I just like playing games grew up playing not as good as i used to be, but its fun to play money games you should try it. Do any of you guys want to play before it gets cold? Well play for fun no stakes.

Damn John what is your handicape ? I Have heard that there are some money games at Glen Brook in Stroudsburg but, have not been in on them. I have not seen an really money games since I moved East from North Cali.

Split Rock is a tough track but very well maintained.

Blue Ridge Trail is one of the better courses in Scranton area, Also Edgewood In The Pines has a nice layout...theres a bunch off of rt. 309

John I'm not sure about the Scranton area but, the Pocono Mts. have a ton of course especially around Stroudsburg just about 20 mins south of Scranton. There are also alot of golf club that you can join for the season around $1,000. Also if you love fall golf you cannot beat the deals there also it seems like know one plays after the temp drops alittle. Grass driving ranges are hard to come by in the area. There is a really nice one on Rt. 33 in Snyderville but that would be a hike from Scranton. If you need a game let me know.

Anyone know about north eastern PA golf I am moving to the area for work this week. Looking for a place to join in the spring with good single digit money games. Would prefer private but not to pricey with grass practice range and a challenging course. I will Be in the Scranton area, Don't really know anything about PA or anyone. Please email me with some recommendations, This might be no where near North Eastern PA so if I bothered everyone sorry!!
